Electro Polish

ELECTROPOLISHING

Electropolishing (also known as anodic polishing, electrochemical polishing or electrolytic polishing) is an electrochemical process that removes material from a metallic component. It is used to polish, passivate, and deburr metal parts.

Superior Surface Finish

A superior surface finish can be achieved by electromechanically removing a layer of metal under controlled conditions. The resulting finish is extremely smooth, free from inclusions and offers an unrivalled level of corrosion resistance.  It is stress free and metallically pure, chemically passive, bright, decorative, smooth and free from minor burrs.

Enhancement of Metal by Electro Polishing

The process of electro polishing dramatically improves metal’s resistance to corrosion in harsh environments, provides a reduced coefficient of friction, is resistant to bacteria and provides excellent light reflectivity.
